How do I file a victims’ rights complaint?
If you are a victim who believes your victim rights have been violated and your attempts to resolve the issue have been unsuccessful, you may submit a complaint online or by mail.
Can I file for restitution after my case is completed?
Unless the restitution is ordered by the criminal court at the time the defendant is sentenced, the only alternative method for obtaining restitution is through civil action.
How do I file an Order of Protection?
Any court in the state may issue and enforce an Order of Protection unless an action for maternity or paternity, annulment, legal separation or dissolution of marriage is pending between the parties. Then, only the Superior Court may issue and enforce the Order of Protection.
